Close but no Cigar – UCLAN Conference Week 2022

Back for its 11th edition, the University of Central Lancashire in Preston sees the return of its annual Conference Week. With a whopping 20 incredible speakers over the five days, this years edition is a must-see with a positively whos-who of the Graphics, Illustration and Advertising world.

This year’s theme is all about failure. Close but no Cigar. The speakers will be presenting their work and advice on the role of failure in the design process. There’ll be some fascinating stories in there for sure.

After being fully virtual last year, the conference is taking place in person but seats are limited to only 100. All the talks will be live-streamed so if you’re not lucky enough to get a golden ticket, you can still tune in via the Disciples of Design YouTube page.
